At a glance
As a pensioner under the Career average plan:
- Your pension is paid monthly.
- You will receive an increase to your pension on 1 April each year (assuming there has been positive inflation in the preceding year).
- Death benefits will be paid to your spouse/dependants (if you have any) on your death.
